Although not exactly popular, dental dams are squares of latex, usually flavoured. Developed for dentists, they are also being used for oral-vaginal and oral-anal sex.

When used correctly, they stop the transmission of body fluids much like a condom. You hold them over the vulval area including the vagina and clitoris - or over the anus.

This is a two handed operation and it helps to put some lube on the side that is not licked to stop irritation and dryness.
